You Got a Nerve ~~Rod Stewart

　　1945年1月10日，這個全名Roderick David Stewart的男孩出生在英國倫敦的一戶蘇格蘭人家庭，他是父母五個孩子中最小的一個。小時候他的理想和眾多的英國孩子一樣，立志成為一名足球運動員，他開始在Brentford足球俱樂部做職業小球員，音樂只佔他業餘時間的一小部分。但是後來，這種情況被顛倒了過來。　　60年代初，已經正式開始了自己音樂征途的Rod Stewart和許多其他音樂人一起參加了民謠歌手Wizz Jones的歐洲巡演，Rod Stewart在巡演中演唱以及演奏口琴。 1963年回到英國以後，Rod Stewart加入了伯明罕一個R&B音樂組合Jimmy Powell & the Five Dimensions，繼續擔任主唱和口琴演奏，並且隨隊一起錄製了一支單曲。在隨隊的英國巡演結束以後，Rod Stewart回到倫敦並且加入了一支名叫the Hoochie Coochie Men的布魯斯樂隊，這就是後來的Steampacket樂隊，Rod Stewart參加了樂隊為the Rolling Stones樂隊巡迴演出，然而事情發展並不順利，Steampacket樂隊在1965年末解散。Rod Stewart在布魯斯樂團Shotgun Express經歷了短暫而並不愉快的時光之後，1966年末，Rod Stewart加入了著名的吉他大師Jeff Beck的樂隊the Jeff Beck Group擔任主唱，在這裏，Rod Stewart的音樂事業得到了真正的發展。
